Agriculture, Rural Development and Animal Husbandry Minister Virender Kanwar has dedicated to public a veterinary hospital building in Takka panchayat of the Kutlehar Assembly segment.

Speaking on the occasion, Kanwar said a regional veterinary hospital had been sanctioned in Samoor Kalan village. Once complete, it would provide specialised services in various disciplines to the cattle rearers of the district, adding that the building of the hospital was under construction.

The minister said a buffalo breeding farm of the exotic ‘Murrah’ variety had been sanctioned in Dangehra village. The farmers would be able to inseminate their cattle here and the semen would also be stored in straws for artificial insemination.
